Fresno CA – March 3, 2013 – OnFarm Systems, the first company to build a comprehensive system to integrate farm hardware information has made the California Irrigation Management Information System(CIMIS) weather station data available to all users.
Since the beginning of the CIMIS weather station network in 1982, the primary purpose of CIMIS was to make available to the public, free of charge, information useful in estimating crop water use for irrigation scheduling. Over the years CIMIS has become the benchmark for irrigation scheduling for thousands of California farmers. Now OnFarm has made the access and use of that information easier for users with real-time access to over 120 reporting stations in California right inside the OnFarm system.
